[문화칼럼] ADFA 시대, 예술은 본질과 현실을 넘어

예술은 언제나 시대의 경계에서 스스로를 다시 묻습니다. 인공지능이 창작의 영역에 깊숙이 들어온 지금, 우리는 기술 변화의 목격과 함께 예술의 존재 이유를 다시 확인해야 하는 순간에 서 있습니다.

앞서 나는 ‘창조’를 이렇게 정의한 바 있습니다.

"창조는 본질에 대한 자각과 무의식의 감수성이 결합하여 빚어낸 자기 정체성이다."

곧, 마음 깊은 곳에서 솟아나는 감각과 깨달음이 모여 자각과 감수성이 어우러지고, 그 결합이 자기 정체성을 형성하는 과정이 바로 창조입니다.

이제 나는 ‘예술’을 이렇게 정의합니다.

"예술은 본질에 대한 자각과 무의식의 감수성이 결합하여 빚어낸 자기 정체성의 발현이다."

즉, 내면에서 형성된 자각과 감수성이 그림, 음악, 춤, 글과 같은 구체적인 형태로 드러나는 순간이 바로 예술입니다.

ADFA(Analog-Digital Fusion Art)는 내가 제안하는 새로운 예술 개념입니다. 이는 예술을 기술적 산출물이나 사회적 장식으로 보는 것이 아니라, 인간 내면의 자각과 무의식적 감수성이 교차하며 드러나는 자기 정체성의 발현으로 규정합니다.

AI가 만든 이미지를 떠올려봅시다. 그것은 데이터의 조합, 알고리즘이 계산해낸 결과물입니다. 그러나 화가가 무의식적으로 선택한 색채와 형태는 단순한 계산이 아닙니다. 그것은 삶의 흔적과 감정이 배어 있는, 자각과 감수성의 결합으로 빚어진 자기 정체성의 흔적입니다.

음악도 마찬가지입니다. AI가 만들어낸 멜로디는 통계적 확률의 산물입니다. 그러나 작곡가가 삶의 고통과 희망을 담아낸 선율은 인간 내면에서 솟아난 자기 정체성의 발현입니다. 이 차이가 바로 ADFA가 강조하는 예술의 본질적 구분입니다.

예술은 인간 내면의 본질과 사회적 현실을 함께 품습니다. AI 시대의 예술가는 기술을 활용하면서도 성찰을 잃지 않아야 하며, 그 길이 존엄을 지키는 길입니다.

창조는 자기 정체성의 형성이고, 예술은 자기 정체성의 발현입니다. 선언과 현실이 교차하는 지점에서 예술은 다시 태어납니다. ADFA는 바로 그 교차점에서 예술을 새롭게 정의하는 철학적 틀입니다.

Art has always questioned itself at the boundary of its era. Now that artificial intelligence has deeply entered the realm of creation, we are not merely witnessing a technological shift but standing at a moment where the very reason for art’s existence must be reaffirmed.

I previously defined “creation” as follows:

Creation is the identity shaped by the union of fundamental awareness and unconscious sensibility.

In other words, the sensations and insights that arise from the depths of the mind combine with sensibility, and this union forms identity. That process is creation.

Now I define “art” as follows:

Art is the manifestation of identity shaped by the union of fundamental awareness and unconscious sensibility.

That is, the awareness and sensibility formed within the inner self emerge in concrete forms such as painting, music, dance, and writing.

ADFA(Analog-Digital Fusion Art) is a new concept I propose. It defines art not as a mere technical product or social ornament, but as the manifestation of identity revealed through the intersection of awareness and unconscious sensibility.

Think of an image created by AI. It is a combination of data, the result of algorithmic calculation. But the colors and shapes unconsciously chosen by a painter are not mere calculations. They are traces of identity shaped by the union of awareness and sensibility, imbued with life’s marks and emotions.

Music is similar. An AI-generated melody is the product of statistical probability. Yet a composer’s melody, infused with pain and hope, is the manifestation of identity arising from the human inner self. This difference is precisely what ADFA emphasizes as the essential distinction of art.

Art embraces both the essence of the human inner self and social reality. In the AI era, artists must use technology without losing reflection, for that path is the way to preserve dignity.

Creation is the formation of identity, and art is the manifestation of identity. At the intersection of declaration and reality, art is reborn. ADFA is the philosophical framework that redefines art at that intersection.

L’art s’est toujours interrogé aux frontières de son époque. Aujourd’hui, alors que l’intelligence artificielle pénètre profondément dans le domaine de la création, nous ne sommes pas simplement témoins d’un changement technologique, mais nous devons réaffirmer la raison d’être de l’art.

J’ai défini auparavant la “création” ainsi :

La création est l’identité façonnée par l’union de la conscience fondamentale et de la sensibilité inconsciente.

Autrement dit, les sensations et les intuitions surgissant du plus profond de l’esprit s’unissent à la sensibilité, et cette union forme l’identité. Ce processus est la création.

Je définis désormais “l’art” ainsi :

L’art est la manifestation de l’identité façonnée par l’union de la conscience fondamentale et de la sensibilité inconsciente.

C’est-à-dire que la conscience et la sensibilité formées dans l’intériorité se révèlent sous des formes concrètes telles que la peinture, la musique, la danse ou l’écriture.

ADFA (Art de Fusion Analogique-Digitale) est un concept nouveau que je propose. Il définit l’art non comme un simple produit technique ou un ornement social, mais comme la manifestation de l’identité révélée par l’intersection de la conscience et de la sensibilité inconsciente.

Pensons à une image créée par l’IA. C’est une combinaison de données, le résultat d’un calcul algorithmique. Mais les couleurs et les formes choisies inconsciemment par un peintre ne sont pas de simples calculs. Elles sont des traces d’identité façonnées par l’union de la conscience et de la sensibilité, imprégnées des marques et des émotions de la vie.

La musique est semblable. Une mélodie générée par l’IA est le produit de probabilités statistiques. Mais une mélodie composée en portant la douleur et l’espérance est la manifestation de l’identité surgissant de l’intériorité humaine. Cette différence est précisément ce qu’ADFA souligne comme distinction essentielle de l’art.

L’art embrasse à la fois l’essence de l’intériorité humaine et la réalité sociale. À l’ère de l’IA, l’artiste doit utiliser la technologie sans perdre la réflexion, car ce chemin est celui qui préserve la dignité.

La création est la formation de l’identité, et l’art est la manifestation de l’identité. À l’intersection de la déclaration et de la réalité, l’art renaît. ADFA est le cadre philosophique qui redéfinit l’art à cette intersection.
